Plan your 'Nationals Experience' here
LeMieux, the leading UK brand of luxury dressage essentials, once again joins us in celebrating all that is great about British dressage at this year’s National Dressage Championships, 20 - 23 September. Britain’s best will make the journey to Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire for four full days of thrilling competition.
This show guarantees a feast of sport for both knowledgeable fans and newcomers alike with championship titles from Prelim to Grand Prix there for the taking, including the crowning of the LeMieux National Dressage Champion. Hayley Watson-Greaves and the delictable WG Rubins Nite, AKA 'Squeaks' took the honours last year and will hopefully be there to defend thier crown in 2018.
Our leading para riders will do battle on Friday for the titles accross the five grade in Friday's Equissage Pulse Gold Champiosnips. The four, five and six year old finals for the Shearwater Young Horse Championships take place over the weekend - always a crowd pleaser.
Also at the weekend, the main arena plays host to an informative Masterclass hosted by the one and only Anna Ross. One of dressage's most effervescent characters, Anna has reached the pinnacle in the sport having represented Britain at FEI Championship and Nations Cup levels, trained riders to Olympic standard, run a successful show centre, produced some top horses and bred some great stars. Join her on Saturday and Sunday around 4pm for half an hour of amazing insight, top tips...and a few laughs!
The spectator-friendly layout of the show means you can get up close to watch your favourite horses and riders and, when you fancy a break, there’s a tempting choice of food outlets and an even more tempting shopping village! And, for a touch of luxury, why not treat yourself to a ticket for the Nationals Pavilion. This popular ringside pavilion is the perfect place to spend time and eat with your friends and family, whilst not missing a minute of the action. Or, why not immerse yourself in all things Nationals and camp with us!
There's plenty of seating around the arenas but why not give yourself a judges' eye veiw with a covered grandstand ticket - that way you get a great veiw and are protected from whatever the Great British weather gives us, rain or shine!
Perhaps this year's show marks a special occassion, or you have some great clients to say thank you to or even a group of friends looking for your own retreat - why not consider a ringside hospitality box.
After a full day soaking up the atmosphere of the show, what better way to let your hair down than joining one of the nationals parties, where everyone is welcome – the LeMieux Welcome Party on Friday. Entrance to this renowned get-together is free with your showground admission tickets.
